This is another my favorite episode beside that I already posted in previous post. Class at Kardia Cathedral showed battles between 3 FT’s S Class Wizard. In my opinion, this class in was the peek of Battle of Fairy Tail arc although it was not the closing battle. Battle of Fairy Tail it self is one of my favorite arc beside Phantom Lort and Tenroujima Island.
But this arc is little bit more special for me. In other 2 arcs, all of Fairy Tail’s member united to fight again outside enemy. A lot of attractive battle’s scenes and crying touchy’s scene that make Fairy Tail is loved deeper and deeper by all of the fans in those 2 arc. In Battle of Fairy Tail, the enemy were not the outsider, but their own member, one of their strongest member indeed.
Laxus Dreyar, who’s also the grandson of Fairy Tail’s master, Makarov, together with his personal guard team, The Raijishu, rebelled again his own granfather and demanded for position as guild’s master. This story made Fairy Tail became so realistic for me. After unofficialy become Fiore’s number one official guild after beated Phantom Lord in the previous arc, now the one whoe need to be defeated is their own self. Even the greatest organization who have survive against huge attack from outsider had their own problem.
Another thing that made this arc become so special was the number Fairy Tail S class wizard that joined this battle actively. Erza became so dependable character againts Phantom Lord. Laxus even didn’t care. Mirajane didn’t get back her power yet and the mysterious Mystogan just support from behind although his contribution was priceless.
In this arc, Laxus become the one who started the battle. Erza, as usuall, became one of the most dependable character, Mirajane got back her power and even totaly overpewered Freed, the strongest member of the Raijishu. And the least but not the last was Mystogan picked direct fighting againt laxus that made his true identity revealed. And this why I said this episode was the real epic of this arc, three of them, Laxus, Mystogan and Erza was include in the direct battle at that Church. I bet it was most attractive battle between Fairy Tail’s member ever.
I really want to know who the one was the strongest amont those three, unfortunetly their battle kept getting interupted and even closed by another battle. But this arc was still one of the best. The ending was so sad and master Makarov once again showed us how to be a great leader.
