This is another post about K-Pop. This time I like to talk about ‘Ma Boy’ song that is singed by Sistar 19, the subgroup of Sistar, the Korean next superstar girlband. I have unique story about this song. I already knowed this song since I was in college. In my previous post, I said that I knowed anything about K-Pop since I went to work, but I forgeted one thing. It is one of my favorite song right now, and I keep repeating it in my laptop and suddenly remembered something that bring me back my memory to my college time.
So far, my college time is best period of time in my life so almost all of memory that I remember about that time are good memory, including this one. It was happen in one of my class. I was a lecturer assistant at the time and the coordinator of lecturer assistant for that class’s subject. I and my fellow assitant were testing and evaluating all the final project in this class. Without any killer lecturer assistant in the class, the test was going without anything scary or anyone felt under presure. We even laughed togheter and compromised about the test scores with the student.
One of my student suddenly opened a video on his laptop and showed it the his team and then they laughed it. I came to them in order to wathced the video too and I was little bit surpraised that the video was not a joke video. The video was about two girls danced together, I even didn’t know that they were singing, because the laptop was mute, or even that they were Korean girlband. In our opinion, their was seductive and something that made they laughed was not video but because one of female student caught us wacthed it and felt discomfort
She was cute student and pretty popular among her junior. We suggested to her to try to dance like the video with another cute girl who also her close friend in order to tease her. We said to her that she and her girlfriend would be a perfect local version of that dancing girl. She stared to us like we were something disgusting and then complained to her boyfriend, who also one of my fellow assistant. I was the coordinator but her boyfriend was the oldest, smartest and had so much experience comparing to all us togheter. So he was the real leader although I as official leader, who always lead the meeting and decided about anything.
But, his reaction was unexpected for her. Because he laughed even more louder than us. Something that made her irritated and made us continued teasing her and laughed more lauder. It was really funny moment for me even it was two years ago. I am not sure that all of them still remeber it because I would not remember it as well if I didn’t wathced the video in my office. It was two years ago and a lot of thing have been changed. I graduated from my college one year ago and went to work in the bigger city. The girl and her boyfriend broke up few months after that moment. So sad to hear that, but both of them are gorgeous so I thought it was not difficult for them to find new lover. I don’t really know, but I think all of my fellow assistant already graduated from the college and the girl is still working with her undergraduate thesis. Beside her appeareance and her people skill, she is smart girl, I think she will graduate soon.
I really miss that moment, all of my moment as lecturer assistant. It was great time that I will repeat it if I able to come back to past. But my live must go on and I am trying all my best to enjoy my current life and prepare for my future because I wish I will have brighter future.
