Yoon Eun Hye and Kim Da Som are both Korean Star. I’ve like Eun Hye since I was in college. At first, I liked her due to her appereance, since she look so gorgeous at her drama, My Fair Lady. But by time, I started liking everything about her. Lately, I knew My Fair Lady got enourmous critics from Korean Netizen, especially about her acting. But she stayed strong and showed her optimism in front of public eventhough she admited that she was crying at her mom’s hug. And then, I also knew that she’s a strong Christian who put bible’s quote at her twitter, not really good at foreign language, and every one who hade met her always said that she was cheerful person will abundant positive energy. After her succesfull drama, Missing You, was launched, she was asked by interviewer about which role that she had potrayed that resemble her the most. She answered that her role role at Missing You was just like her at many aspect because she had hard time when she was teen, she wasn’t confident and even got bullied, but she overcome all of them, left her bad past behind and became a succesfull person. For me, she is a great woman, someone that perfect to be a wife and mother. I have loads of favorite celebrity, either from west or east Asia, but I always love her the most.
I like several other Korean celebrity beside Eun Hye although no as much as her. But I always think that Da som of SISTAR is special case. Whenever I see her, she always reminds me of Eun Hye. They maybe are not as good looking as Yoona of SNSD or Kang Min Kyung of Davichi, they also are no as good as SNSD’s Tiffany or SISTAR’s Hyolyn at singing, but they are always special in my eyes and then I realised that they have several things in common that make me feel that Da som is somehow Eun Hye’s younger version.
1 Maknae of the group
Maknae means the youngest. In Korean culture, age very important thing, you have to speak politely to your elders, even they are just one year older. So, this maknae thing maybe is considered important there. Eun Hye is former member of Baby V.O.X. , a famous Korean girl band that have been disbanded at 2005. Dasom is member of SISTAR, one of the world wide Korean girl band. They are both are the youngest member and admit that they don’t have a significant role at their group. Eun Hye joined her group at 1988, subtituted a member who quited. She said that public used to pay more attention to her senior who was already popular before she joined. In other hand, Da som ever said that she was the weakest chain at SISTAR due to her skill. If you know SISTAR, you will consider that what she said is true. SISTAR, who is one of Eun Hye’s favorite girl band, has 2 great vocalist and hot raper, they are indeed beautiful and talented like Eun Hye ever said. I think it’s normal if Da som feels inferior among them, although she supposed not to.
They maybe not as great as the other member at singing and dancing, but it doesn’t mean that they are lack ot talent. They both have something that other member can’t do, acting. Yes, they’re good actress. Eun Hye has started her carrier as actress since she left Baby V.O.X and has won several awards already. Da som started acting couple years ago and have played at 2 drama and several MVs. In their group, only them who have succesful carrier as actress.
2. Cutest when cruel
When I was teen, I always wonder why woman prefer bad man to good man. What the hell do woman see at them? Finnaly I understood when first time I saw Kang Hye Na, potrayed by Yoon Eun Hye, at My Fair Lady. That was the first time that I realised a bad person could become even cuter when they had good looking appereance. I had seen many beautiful villain characters before, but none of them that as gorgeous as Kang Hye Na. Hye Na was heiress of Kang San group. She is amazingly rich and a spoiled girl. She never showed good attitide toward everybody, hars to people who work for her and thought that all problem could be solved by money. These drama have other name, Taking care of the young lady, and I think I know why they named it like that. I believe that I’m not the only one normal male in this world that doesn’t matter how bad Hye Na is, we want to take care of her. The worse she was, the more we wanted. It’s indeed weird, but just like young girls perpective, a bad person can look cool.
After Hye Na, I never liked any other bad characters, untill I watched Shut Up Family, A korean drama and sitcom. It was not first time I knew about Kim Da Som of SISTAR, but those drama made me started to like her. Dasom potrayed as brilliant high school student who had cruel side that not every body knew about. She always acted gentley and kindly before her parents and teacher, but her friend knew how scary she was. She always showed her domination toward weak people including her own step older brother. She never bothered by other feeling about her as long as it wasn’t important matter for her. She was a liar and hypocrite that deserve to be hated by everyone but just like Hye Na’s case, I like her, especially after she showed us her lonely side, she was damn cute. I smiled when she laughed and moved by tears when she cried. She became one of the reasons I kept watching that drama.
3. Chubby even slender
This part is the one like most from their appereance. They both are slender but still can look chubby at the same time. I think it because they aren’t naturally slender, they’re basically chubby. I read several time about their diet, how suffering they were, but as the result, they now have good slim body. But their chubby chicks sometime still remain at their face, especially when the are smilling.
First time I realised how chubby Eun Hye is, was when I watched her drama Lie to Me. She was potraying as clueless and clumsy girl. Her role was indeed not a gorgeous goddes like My Fair Lady, but I think she look chubbiest in this drama. For Dasom, I just realised how chubby she is recently when I watched her at K.Will’s MV, Love Blossom. She used innocent hair style at that MV that made her look so chubby.
